Kail Walker, along with three partners, launched riseOMA, a biannual networking event that aims to provide a better experience for local real estate professionals. The event includes education panels, local vendors, and a food drive for charity. It also brings in creative workers to collaborate with real estate pros on projects. The first event had 17 attendees while the latest drew 175. Through riseOMA, Walker estimates that he's added 100 people to his sphere, leading to 15 home sales, and gaining name recognition in the real estate community. The event aims to bring together talent and amazing businesses in Omaha to help the city grow.
